3 DAYS CHIANG RAI AND CHIANG MAI TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 1 - Chiang Rai
Welcome to Chiang Rai! Chiang Rai is the capital of Chiang Rai Province, Northern Thailand. The town has a population of around 62, 000 and is the main commercial centre serving the Golden Triangle border region of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. It is an excellent base for exploring the region.

Upon arrival at Chiang Rai Airport by morning flight, meet our tour guide and transfer by private minivan to hotel. Afterward, proceed to visit the Golden Triangle Here there are magnificent views over the Mekong river to the physical triangle made by Burma, Laos and Thailand at the confluence of the Ruak and Mae Khong. The journey continue to Mae Sai border market, the northernmost point in Thailand situated on the border with Burma where the shops and street stalls are full of Chinese and Burmese handicrafts and antiques. Transfer back to the hotel at the end of the tour. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 2 - Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai

In the morning, Turkey Travel Bazaar will lead you to depart by longtailed boat up the Kok River to Karen Ruamid village and elephant camp. Mount an elephant through jungle surrounding to Baan Huay Mae Sai, a Yao hilltribe village.

Afterwards visit an Lahu village nearby. Depart Chiang Rai and road through Splendid Mountain scenery and tropical jungle approx.3 hours to the Rose of the North Chiang Mai approx. with en route stop at Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple where design by the famous Artist in Thailand and then visit local hot spring and check in at hotel in the late afternoon. Enjoy a typical Thai dinner with presentation. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 3 - Chiang Mai - End of tour

Today drive up to Doi Suthep mountain to visit Prathat Doi Suthep temple and to enjoy panoramic view of the city from the mountain top. Next visit Sankamphaeng Handicraft village to see northern handicraft products including silk, silver, Saa paper, lacquerwares, etc.
