8 DAYS SRI LANKA AND NILAWELI TOUR ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Pinnawala - Dambulla - Arrival Day
Welcome to Sri-Lanka! When you arrive to the International airport, meet with our local representative and we will transfer to Dambulla. We will asist you to check into your hotel and you will be given your room key. The rest of the day is yours. Overnight in Dambulla.
Day 2 - Dambulla - Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Dambulla

After breakfast, we will pricess to Sigiriya. Sigiriya (Lions rock) is an ancient rock fortress and palace ruin situated in the central Matale District of Sri Lanka, surrounded by the remains of an extensive network of gardens, reservoirs, and other structures. A popular tourist destination, Sigiriya is also renowned for its ancient paintings which are reminiscent of the Ajanta Caves of India. The Sigiriya was built during the reign of King Kassapa I (AD 477 - 495), and it is one of the seven World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka.
Then Turkey Travel Bazaar will guided you to go Polonnaruwa where is a well-preserved city of ancient dagobas, moonstones, beautiful parks, massive buildings and stunningly beautiful statues. The majestic Kings Council Chamber, the Lotus Bath, the Lanka Thilaka Viharaya, the Gal Viharaya (rock temple) and the statue of one of Polonnaruwas great kings, Parakramabahu, are a few of this capitals memorable sights. The Sea of Parakrama - a vast 12th century man-made reservoir dominates the city. Although it is nearly 1000 years old, it is much younger than Anuradhapura, and in much better repair. Moreover, the monuments here are located in a more compact area, and their development is easier to followAt the end of the tour, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Dambulla.
Day 3 - Dambulla - Nilaveli

Today we will depart for Niaveli. Niaveli is located on the East Coast of Sri Lanka, known the word over for its beautiful soft white sand beaches which slope gently into clear shallow seas, the vast Indian Ocean which washes on to the shores of this coastal resort holds a treasure chest of dreams just waiting to be opened. Upon arrival, transfer and check in to your hotel, the rest of the day is leisure. Overnight in Nilaveli.
Day 4 - Niaveli

Today is leisure, you need not to wake up early, lying on the beach and enjoy the sunshine. Or join the water sports on the sea. Overnight in Nilaveli.
Day 5 - Nilaweli - Kandy
(Breakfast included)
Today we will leave Nilaweli and depart for Kandy. Enroute you can join us to visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage is app. 55miles from Colombo, off the Colombo - Kabdy road is Pinnawela, where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 65 now, including baby elephants brough from various parts, as well as the 23 babies born, as a result of the captive breeding programme. The best time to visit is the feeding time from 0930 - 1000 hrs and 1330 - 1400 hrs and the bathing from 1000 - 1030 hrs and 1400 - 1430 hrs when all the elephants are taken to the river which closed by. Afterwards, we will continue our journey to Kandy. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and you will be given your room key. Overnight in Kandy.
Day 6 - Kandy City Tour

After enjoy your breakfast, we will pick you up and depart for Kandy and our city tour today. Kandy - the hill capital is another World Heritage Site. It was the last stronghold of the Sinhalese Kings during the Portuguese, Dutch and British rule and finally ceded to the British in 1815 after an agreement. To the Biddhists of Sri Lanka and the World. Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the Dalada Maligawa - Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha.
Close by are the remains of the Royal Palace (Maha Wasala), Palle Wasala where the Queens stayed-now used for the National Museum. Meda Wasala where other close relatives lived, Audience Hall, Natha Devala and Vishnu Devala are situated close by. The Bathing Pavilion (Ulpenge) is by the Lake and in the center of the lake which called Kiri samudraya, mean milk white ocean in English. It is used by the kings as the summerhouse. It is the center of Buddhism, arts, crafts, dancing, music and culture. We can see these Dance and Music at the daily cultural performances which held in several places in the city. At the end, transfer back to hotel. Overnight in Kandy.
Day 7 - Kandy - Colombo

Today we will process to Colombo is the business and commercial center and the new captial is Sri Jayawardhanapura Kotte which is only a few miles away. Colombo was a small seaport which cam into prominence in the 16th century with the arrival of the Portuguese in 1505 and the development of it as a major harbour during the British period and became the capital in 1815 after Kandy was ceded to the British. Then we go on a sightseeing and a guided shopping tour around those busy streets of Colombo, which like many capital cities in rapidly fast developing. At the end, transfer and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Colombo.
Day 8 - Colombo - End of Tour

Today you will have a free morning to walk around the city by yourself. Regarding your flight departure time, we will arrange your transfer to airport for your international flight back home.
