5 DAYS SRI LANKA HIGHLIGHTS TOUR ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Pinnawala - Dambulla - Arrival Day
Welcome to Sri-Lanka! When you arrive to the International airport, meet with our local representative and we will transfer to Dambulla. We will asist you to check into your hotel and you will be given your room key. The rest of the day is yours. Overnight in Dambulla.
Day 2 - Damblla - Sigiriya - Kandy City Tour

After enjoy your breakfast, we will pick you up and depart for Kandy and our city tour today. Kandy - the hill capital is another World Heritage Site. It was the last stronghold of the Sinhalese Kings during the Portuguese, Dutch and British rule and finally ceded to the British in 1815 after an agreement. To the Biddhists of Sri Lanka and the World. Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the Dalada Maligawa - Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha.
Close by are the remains of the Royal Palace (Maha Wasala), Palle Wasala where the Queens stayed-now used for the National Museum. Meda Wasala where other close relatives lived, Audience Hall, Natha Devala and Vishnu Devala are situated close by. The Bathing Pavilion (Ulpenge) is by the Lake and in the center of the lake which called Kiri samudraya, mean milk white ocean in English. It is used by the kings as the summerhouse. It is the center of Buddhism, arts, crafts, dancing, music and culture. We can see these Dance and Music at the daily cultural performances which held in several places in the city. At the end of the tour, transfer and check in your hotel in Kandy. Overnight in Kandy.
Day 3 - Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Today Turkey Travel Bazaar will lead you to depart for Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya as known as The Little England of Sri Lanka. It is set against beautiful backdrops of mountains, valleys, waterfalls and tea plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coolest places n the island, but it just like an English spring day, although the temperature will be drop at night. If you can notice, all around Nuwara Eilya you will see evidence of the British influence, houses which like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions.
Then Turkey Travel Bazaar will lead you to go to Victoria Park which is located in the middle of the town is a lovely place for a stroll or a picnic. Also it is good for birding as you get some rare birds in this part.
Seasons may be absent elsewhere in Sri Lanka, but in Nuwara Eliya you can find them by the flowers which bloom in the Spring, around March to May and the fall, August and September. These are the seasons when low-country folk flock to Nuwara Eliya to escape the sea level heat and humidity. At the end of the tour, transfer and check in to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya. The rest of the day is leisure for you to explore this wonderful place. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 4 - Nuwara Eliya - Colombo City Tour

This morning, after your breakfast, Turkey Travel Bazaar will lead you to depart for Colombo via Kithulgala. This is the place where the famous Bride on the River Kwai film was made. En route withness the sensuous St. Claris and divine Devon waterfalls. The journey is a truly remarkable. You are offered a scenic drive and totally different landscape from the city of Nuwara Eilya.
Colombo is the business and commercial center and the new captial is Sri Jayawardhanapura Kotte which is only a few miles away. Colombo was a small seaport which cam into prominence in the 16th century with the arrival of the Portuguese in 1505 and the development of it as a major harbour during the British period and became the capital in 1815 after Kandy was ceded to the British. Then we go on a sightseeing and a guided shopping tour around those busy streets of Colombo, which like many capital cities in rapidly fast developing.
Day 5 - Colombo - End of Tour

Today you will have a free morning to walk around the city by yourself. Regarding your flight departure time, we will arrange your transfer to airport for your international flight back home.
