8 DAYS TRANSYLVANIA - BUCOVINA - DANUBE DELTA TOUR ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Bucharest - Sinaia - Arrival Day
(Dinner included)
Welcome to Romania! Upon arrival in Bucharest International Airport, you will be meet with our local representative and we will transfer to Sinaia and check in to your hotel. Sinaia is a town and a mountain resort in Romania. The city is a popular destination for hiking and winter sports, especially downhill skiing. After settle down, the rest of the day is yours to explore the city. Dinner and overnight in Sinaia.
Day 2 - Sinaia - Bran - Brasov - Sighisoara

After your breakfast in hotel, today we will depart for Sighisoara. Sighisoara is a popular tourist destination, due to its well-preserved walled old town. During our journey, we will visit Sinaia Monastery which was founded by Prince Mihai Cantacuzino in 1695 and named after the great Sinai Monastery on Mount Sinai. As of 2005 it is inhabited by 13 Christian Orthodox monks led by hegumen Macarie Bogus. It belongs to the archdiocese of Bucharest.
Then we will visit Peles Castle where is a Neo-Renaissance castle placed in an idyllic setting in the Carpathian Mountains, and built between 1873 and 1914; its inauguration was held in 1883. And Draculas Caste in Bran, it is a national monument and landmark in Romania. The fortress is situated on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. The castle is now a museum open to tourists
After our lunch break in a nice restaurant in Bran, we will continue our journey. Upon arrival at Sighisoara, Turkey Travel Bazaar will guide you to visit Sighisoara Citadel which is a 12th Century Saxon edifice, is the historic center of the city. Still inhabited, the citadel is listed as a World Heritage Site. Also we will visit the Church on the Hill which contains many frescoes and a crypt. Built on the location of a Roman fort. Located on the side of the hill next to it is one of the Lutheran cemeteries in the city, which contains many tombstones of Germans.
Then we will see the most impressive and the most picturesque in all Sighisoaras towers - The Clock Tower. Its role was to be the main gate into the citadel and to house the towns council. It was built in the second half of the 14th century.
Around the citadel walls are the towers that the guilds erected during the 14th to 16th centuries to protect the town from Turkish raids. Each tower was built by one of the guilds and bears the name of the guild. 14 towers were erected but only 9 are still standing. We will visit The Butchers Tower (Turnul Macelarilor) inside. At last we will visit the Birth-place of Count Dracula before we transfer and check in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Sighisoara.
Day 3 - Sighisoara - Bicaz Gorges - Piatra Neamt

After breakfast in the hotel, we will pick you up and depart for Piatra Neamt. On the way, we can admire the beautiful Bicaz Gorges. And we will have a stop in the Red Lake and spend our lunch there. Red Lake is a barrier lake in the Eastern Carpathians chain in Harghita County, Romania. The name of Lacul Rosu comes from the reddish alluvia deposited in the lake by the Red Creek. The lake falls within the jurisdiction of the municipality of Gheorgheni.
After our lunch break, continue our journey. Upon arrival at in Piatra Neamt, transfer and check in to your hotel. Piatra Neamt is the capital city of Neamt County, in the historical region of Moldavia, eastern Romania. Because of its privileged location in the Eastern Carpathian mountains, it is considered one of the most picturesque cities in Romania. Dinner and overnight in Piatra Neamt.
Day 4 - Piatra Neamt - Bucovina Monasteries - Suceava / Gura Humorului

After breakfast, we will spend the entire day dedicated entirely to the visit of the monasteries during our drive to Suceava.
Turkey Travel Bazaar will lead you to visit the largest monksmonastery in Moldavia - Neamt. Voronet which was founded in 1488 by the Romanian leader Stephen the Great, monastery also known as the Sixtine Chapel of the East with the well-known color blue of Voronet. Also, we will visit Moldovita which was built in 1532, by Petru Rares and depicted externally and at the interior with famous scenes such as the Constantinopole Victory, Vergin Marys Prayer. Upon arrival at Suceava / Gura Humorului, transfer and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is leisure. Dinner and overnight in Suceava / Gura Humorului.
Day 5 - Suceava - Roman - Bacau - Galati

After breakfast, we will depart for Galati by crossing the cities of Roman and Bacau. Galati is the seventh most populous city in Romania. Upon arrival, transfer and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is leisure. Dinner and overnight in Galati.
Day 6 - Galati - Delta Cruise - Tulcea

Today we will depart for Tulcea by embark on Delta Cruise at 10.30am. Discover the extraordinary reserve of our country, protected by UNESCO, praising with over 300 species of birds and over 100 species of fish. The Rosca-Letea forest of the Danube Delta has also received an acknowledgement diploma as being one of the most fascinating destination of Europe. Lunch will be served on board. At around 4.30pm, we will arrive Tulcea, and you will be check in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Tulcea.
Day 7 - Tulcea - Bucharest

Today we will drive back Bucharest after your breakfast. Upon arrival, we will have our lunch in a restaurant and shall start our sightseeing tour afterwards.
Turkey Travel Bazaar will guided you to visit the Palace of the Parliament, the Palace is the worlds largest civilian administrative building, most expensive administrative building, and heaviest building. And we will visit Romanian Patriarchal Cathedral, the Patriarchal Cathedral has been the centrepiece of the Romanian Orthodox faith since the seventeeth century.
Built to a design based on the Curtea de Arges, near Pitesti, it has undergone a number of facelifts, but the overwhelming majority of the cathedrals structure is the original, built between 1654 to 1658. Then we will have visit The Village Museum which is an open-air ethnographic museum located in the Herastrau Park (Bucharest, Romania), showcasing traditional Romanian village life. At the end of the tour, transfer and check in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Bucharest.
Day 8 - Bucharest - End of Tour

After breakfast, check out from your hotel. Regarding your flight departure time, we will transfer to the airport for your international flight back home.
