Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive in Cochin and Stay in Munnar   (D)
Upon arrival to Cochin airport, you will meet with our staff and transfer to the lovely hill station called Munnar (140kms / 04hrs) filled with tea plantations and misty mountains. The drive to Munnar is very scenic crossing the narrow hair pin roads where you can see beautiful valleys, tea gardens and small waterfalls enroute. On reaching Munnar, check into the hotel and relax for the day. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Munnar.

Day 2 - Munnar City Tour    (B + D)
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up from your hotel for  Munnar City Tour. City Tour of Munnar starts by  visiting Mattupetty Dam where speed boating and horse riding can be done Top Station and Echo Point - Echo point gets its name from the natural occurrence of echo here. It is a popular place in Munnar and many people come here to listen to their echoes.
Afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park and Rajamala Peak - This place is the natural habitat of a rare animal known as the Nilgiri Tahr. The place is located around 2700 meters above sea level and makes an ideal spot to relax and rejuvenate oneself. Later visit the tea gardens and spend some time over there. At the end of the tour, transfer back to your hotel. The rest of the day is leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Munnar.

Day 3 - Drive for Munnar to Thekkady    (B + D)
After having breakfast at your hotel and check out. You will be picked up from your hotel and drive to Thekkady (also known as Periyar - 130kms / 3. 5hrs) which is famous for its spice gardens and wildlife reserve. The drive from Munnar to Thekkady is also very scenic with tea gardens, dense woods, and spice gardens and on reaching Periyar

Upon arrival to Thekkady, you will be transferred to your hotel and check into your hotel.This evening you will be accompanied you to visit Periyar Lake for boat ride. At the end, transfer back to hotel, dinner and overnight at hotel in Thekkady.

Day 4 - Drive from Thekkady to Kumarakom      (B + D)
After having your breakfast and check out from the hotel, You will be picked up and drive to lovely backwater destination called Kumarakom / Alleppey. Kumarakom Upon arrival, you will be transferred to hotel and check into your hotel overlooking the backwater. Afternoon visit Kumarakom Bird sanctuary and local sight seeing. At the end of the tour, transfer back to your hotel. The rest of the day is leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kumarakom.

Day 5 - Cruise from Kumarakom to Alleppey Houseboat Tour     (B + L + D)
This morning you need not to wake up early, because you will have a leisurely morning in the resort and by 12.00pm your private houseboat will pick you from the nearest boat jetty and take you to backwater cruise towards Kumarakom.

During the cruise you can see ancient temples, churches and can watch the day to day life of the local people who live close these canals. We shall also arrange fishing rods (on request) in the houseboat for your children to do fishing during the stay. Your crew will prepare delicious Kerala food for you and shall take good care of you. In the evening the boat will be anchored in a village where you can go for walk to mingle with the local people. Lunch and dinner and overnight on Air Conditioned Houseboat in Alleppey.

Day 6 - Drive from Alleppey to Kovalam   (B + D)
After breakfast disembark Houseboat at 9 am, you will be picked by our driver and transfer you to Kovalam. This is a famous beach destination in South India. This beach has been the favorite haunt of most Europeans since the 1930s. The Kovalam beach has wonderful Sapphire blue waters and palm trees swaying to the salty breeze. It is known as the paradise of the South. On arrival check into Hotel and the rest of the day leisure at Kovalam Beach. Dinner and overnight at Kovalam.

Day 7 - Kovalam and Excursion to Kanyakumari        (B + D)
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will have full day excursion to Kanyakumari - enroute visit Padmanabhapuram Palace and Sucheendram Temple and visit Vivekananda Rock, memorial statue of thiruvaloor and enjoy the sunset (subject to whether condition). At the end of the tour, transfer back to your hotel. The rest of the day is leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kovalam.

Day 8 - Transfer From Kovalam to Airport - End of Tour   (B)
You will have breakfast at your hotel and check out. You will have free time until your departure time. Then you will be picked up from hotel and transfer to airport or train station regarding to departure time.
