9 DAYS GREECE PRELUDE TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 1 - Athens - Arrival Day
Upon arrive in Athens, you will meet with our local representative at the airport and be transfered to your hotel. Once you settle in, you are free to stroll in the old Plaka district. Overnight in Athens.

Day 2 - Athens / Paros

Today you will be free until the time we pick you up from hotel to Piraeus port for embarkation to the ferry and begin our journey to Paros. Paros is an island of Greece in the central Aegean Sea. One of the Cyclades island group, it lies to the west of Naxos, from which it is separated by a channel about 8 km (5 mi) wide. It lies approximately 100 nmi (185 km) south-east of Piraeus. Today, Paros is one of the most popular European tourist hotspots. The Municipality of Paros includes numerous uninhabited offshore islets totaling 196.308 km2 of land. Its nearest neighbor is the Community of Antiparos, lying to its southwest. Paros also became known for its fine white marble which gave rise to the term Parian which is used for China and fine marbles worldwide.

Upon arrive Paros, meet with our local staff and transfer you to hotel and you will be given your room key. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city. Overnight in Paros.

Day 3 - Paros Free Day

Today is yours, you need not to wake up earlu. You can enjoy the beauties of the island, explore the white churches. Or you can spend a day in the beach, enjoy the sunshine, Paros is an island full of beaches in all sizes, from the known to the loneliest, and the beaches vary from rocky, sandy, with gravel and with transparent waters. Overnight in Paros.

Day 4 - Paros / Naxos

Today you will be free until the time we pick you up from hotel to the port for embarkation to the ferry and begin our journey to Naxos. Naxos is a Greek island, the largest in the Cyclades island group in the Aegean. It was the centre of archaic Cycladic culture.
The island comprises the two municipalities of Naxos and Drymalia. The largest town and capital of the island is Hora, sometimes called Naxos City, with 6,533 inhabitants (2001 census). The main villages are Filoti, Apiranthos, Vivlos, Agios Arsenios, Koronos and Glinado.
Naxos is a popular tourist destination, with several easily accessible ruins. It has a number of beautiful beaches, such as those at Agia Anna, Agios Prokopios, Alikos, Kastraki, Mikri Vigla, Plaka, and Agios Georgios, most of them near Hora. Naxos is the most fertile island of the Cyclades. It has a good supply of water in a region where water is usually inadequate. Mount Zas (999 metres) is the highest peak in the Cyclades, and tends to trap the clouds, permitting greater rainfall. This has made agriculture an important economic sector with various vegetable and fruit crops as well as cattle breeding, making Naxos the most self sufficient island in the Cyclades. Naxos is also known within Greece for its potatoes. Upon arrive Naxos, meet with our local staff and transfer you to hotel and you will be given your room key. Day 5 - Naxos Free Day

Today is yours to discover the beauties of the largest Cycladic island which is located in the middle of the Aegean sea - Naxos and it is an administrative prefecture of Greece. They are one of the island groups which constitute the Aegean archipelago.

Valleys that end to sandy beaches, narrow streets with old houses of stone, the Venetian Castle and Byzantine churches are a few of Naxos\' characteristics.

At the end of the tour, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Naxos.

Day 6 - Naxos / Ios

Today you will be free until the time we pick you up from hotel to the port for embarkation to the ferry and begin our journey to Ios. Ios is one of the island in the Cyclades group in the Aegean Sea. It is a hilly island with cliffs down to the sea on most sides, situated halfway between Naxos and Santorini. It is about 18 km (11 mi) long and 10 km (6 mi) wide.

Upon arrive Ios, meet with our local staff and transfer you to hotel and you will be given your room key. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city. Overnight in Ios.

Day 7 - Ios Free Day

Today is leisure, you can explore this island with the magnificent small bays, mountains with chapels, vineyards and beautiful sandy beaches offering also an incredible night life. Overnight in Ios.

Day 8 - Ios / Athens
(Breakfast included)
Today you will be free until the time we pick you up from hotel to the port for embarkation to the ferry and begin our journey back to Athens.

Upon arrive Athens, meet with our local staff and transfer you to hotel and you will be given your room key. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city. Overnight in Athens.

Day 9 - Athens - End of Tour
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Today is the end of the tour, after breakfast we will arrange your transfer from the hotel to Athens International airport for your flight back home.
