3 Days Ephesus & Priene, Miletus , Didyma & Pamukkale Tour by Bus

20:00  You will take a shuttle bus form our office and transfer to Bus station.

21:30  Depart from Istanbul by local bus to Selcuk (Duration 11 hrs)

 

You will arrive in Selcuk in the morning. Our staff will be waiting you at the bus station with your name sign. You will be picked from up bus station and transfer to our office. After meeting with other tour participants and local Ephesus tour guide, you will start to Full Day Ephesus Ancient City & House of Virgin Mary Tour. You will walk with our Ephesus tour guide in the Ephesus Ancient City  through marble streets to the Library of Celsius, then visit Hadrian's Temple, the Fountains of Trajan, Polio, and Domitian,Vedious and Scholastic Baths, Bouloterion, and the Great Theatre with capacity of 24.000 spectators. After visiting Ephesus ancient City, you will have lunch in a local restaturant. Afterwards, you will visit the House of Virgin Mary where she spent last days of her life. It was the 3rd Ecumenical council then drive to the Temple of Artemis, was the one of the "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World."  Afterwards, the tour ends and you will be transferred to Hotel  which is reserved by our company according to your choise.  Check in hotel and overnight in Selcuk.

 

08:30 You will be collected from your hotel (Pick up time may change according to your hotel location) and meet with other tour participants and local tour guide.Then drive to Priene Ancient City. In the 2nd millennium BC, Priene Ancient City  was founded in an unknown location. Visit the theater, the temple of Athena, the Bouleterium, the Agora, and the Altar of Zeus and Cybele. After visiting Priene, have lunch in one of the local restaurant in the area. Afterwards, dirve to Didyma Ancient City, Visiting Temple Of the Apollon which was the biggest Oracle Center of ancient Turkey. After visiting Didyma drive to Miletus Ancient City, was established on the sea shore at that period. Also it was knowen Thales’s home. He has reported forecasted solar eclipse. He has been dealing with astronomy and solstices as one of the first astronomer to calculate in advance. The city was destroyed by the Persians in 5th century BC. At the end of the tour, drive back to hotel and overnight in Kusadasi.

 

08:30am Pick up from your hotel (Pick up time may change according to your hotel location) and drive to Selcuk (Duration is at least 15 munites) to meet with other tour participants and tour guide then drive to Pamukkale that has the meaning of the Cotton Castle in English.

12:00 Arrive in Pamukkale and have lunch in a local restaurant.

13:00 We will enter the Hierapolis Ancient City and Pamukkale to vist Pamukkale's terraces are made of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by water from the hot springs. In this area, there are 17 hot water springs in which the temperature ranges from 35 °C to 100 °C The water that emerges from the spring is transported 320 metres (1,050 ft) to the head of the travertine terraces and deposits calcium carbonate on a section 60 to 70 metres long covering an expanse of 240 metres to 300 metres. Then visit Hierapolis Ancient City, famous for healing thermal / mineral Baths and beautiful snow-white “petrified waterfalls  including the main Street and Gates, the magnificently preserved Necropolis, the devil’s hole, the thermal Baths, and masterpiece theater. 

16:00 / 16:15 Tour ends and you will have free time in Pamukkale until departure time.

21:00 Depart from Denizli to Istanbul by local bus (Duration 10-11 hours)

 

Around 08:00am, you will arrive in Istanbul bus station. ( Local bus company has shuttle bus to Sultanahmet area)
