This package is an economical way to make a historical trip and to be out of the most touristical destination while in a vacation in Turkey. Two days long during the tour, there will be four different ancient city from the ancient world.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Overnight local bus from Istanbul to Selcuk / Kusadasi
20:00 You will be picked up infront of our office by shuttle bus and transfer to Bus station.
21:30 Depart from Istanbul by local bus to Selcuk/Kusadasi (Duration 11 hrs)
Day 2 – Arrive in Selcuk / Kusadasi & Miletus – Priene – Didyma Tour (Lunch)
You will arrive in Selcuk /Kusadasi in the morning. Our staff will be waiting for you at the bus station with your name sign. You will be picked up from bus station and transferred to our office. After meeting with other tour participants and local tour guide, you will drive to Priene Ancient City. In the 2nd millennium BC, Priene Ancient City was founded in an unknown location. Visit the theater, the temple of Athena, the Bouleterium, the Agora, and the Altar of Zeus and Cybele. After visiting Priene, have lunch in one of the local restaurant in the area. Afterwards, drive to Didyma Ancient City, Visiting Temple Of the Apollon which was the biggest Oracle Center of ancient Turkey. After visiting Didyma drive to Miletus Ancient City, was established on the sea shore at that period. Also it was known Thales’s home. He has reported forecasted solar eclipse. He has been dealing with astronomy and solstices as one of the first astronomer to calculate in advance. The city was destroyed by the Persians in 5th century BC. At the end of the tour, drive back to Selcuk/Kusadasi the tour ends and you will be transferred to Hotel which is reserved by our company according to your choise. Check in hotel and overnight in Selcuk / Kusadasi.
Day 3 – Pergamon Ancient City Tour (Breakfast & Lunch)
08:30 After breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel (Pick up time may change according to your hotel location) and meet with other tour participants and local tour guide then we will drive to Pergamum. Pergamum (also spelled Pergamon) was an important capital city in ancient period. Whose main function was social and cultural as much as it was sacred. Built on a conical hill rising 1,000 feet above the surrounding valley. Pergamum's acropolis and Asclepion are both listed among the top 100 historical sites on the Mediterranean. Most of the buildings and monuments in Pergamum date to the time of Eumenes II (197-159 BC), including the famed library, the terrace of the spectacularly sited hillside theater, the main palace, the Altar of Zeus, Temple of Athena. Also it was one of the Seven Churches of Revelation. Asclepion, Galen born & Aducated in Pergamum, was the authority of European medicine from the 2nd century until renaissance. He was the founder of the health principles of diet, relaxation, exercise. Visit the ancient hospital & health center where he worked. Tour ends and you will be transferred to bus station to take an overnight bus back to Istanbul or other destinations.
21:00 Depart from Selcuk / Izmir to Istanbul by local bus (Durarion 10-11 hours)
Day 4 – Arrive in Istanbul
Around 08:00 o’clock, you will arrive in Istanbul bus station. ( Local bus company has shuttle bus to Sultanahmet area)

It was a nice trip and historical tours in Izmir which had joined while me and my family was in a vacation in Istanbul. It was not the place that all the tourists were going, for us it was the most important part of the this package because, there were not much crowded. Recommend this tour to join.

Excellent historical tour package. We had joined to this tour with a recommendation of one of my frieds, good that I had a rommendation. There was many option for those sites when I checked it.
