Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Istanbul / Transfer to hotel      
Turkey Travel Bazaar Representative will meet you when you arrive in Istanbul Airport. You will be transferred to your hotel and have a rest today.

Day 2 Byzantian & Ottoman Relics Tour           (Included Meals: Breakfast / Lunch)
08:30 Am After breakfast and pick up from hotel for full day Byzantian & Ottoman Relics Tour.
We start the tour with discovering the Byzantine and Ottoman Relics, visit Saint Sophia Museum, built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century. It is one of the architectual marvels of all time, then visit the Sultanahmet Cami (Blue Mosque), built in the 16th century, unique with 6 minarets and its magnificent interior decoration of the blue Iznik tiles. The Ancient Hippodrome, was the scene of chariot races and constains three monuments: Obelisk of Theodosius,bronze serpentine column and German Fountian of Wilhelm II.  Before lunch visit the Grand Covered Bazaar (Kapalicarsi) one of the oldest and biggest Bazaars in the world with more than 4,000 shops selling souvenirs, rugs & kilims, jewelry, pottery, leather and almost everything. Visit Royal Topkapi Palace, the great palace of the Ottoman Sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries.Little Hagia Sophia Mosque is known as one of the oldest standing churches in Istanbul dating back to 6th century. It is early domed – basilica architectural plan of famous Hagia Sophia which was applied here first time in the history. Temple is founded by powerful emperor Justinianos whose reign was golden age of Roman Empire and now is used as a mosque since 1497.

Day 3 Bosphorus and Two Continents Tour        (Meals:Breakfast and Lunch )    
08:30 Pick up from the hotel for the Tour of Bosphorus and the Asian part of Istanbul.Visiting;
City Walls
The first breach of the walls was by the Fouth Crusade in 1204, the second by the cannons and troops of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror in 1453.
Drive on the Golden Horn
As a natural and extremely secure harbor, the Golden Horn has played an important role in the development of Istanbul. The inlet separates the European shore into two. It is approximately 8 km long, and the widest part is the entrence from the Bosphorus.Two streams drain into this inlet at its far end.
Spice Bazaar
It is located at Eminonu behind the New Mosque(Valide Sultan Mosque).It was constructed by Turhan Sultan in 1660 as a pious foundation attached to New Mosque.
Bosphorus on Boat
A traditional excursion by boat along the waterway seperating Europe and Asia. The shore is lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. During the excursion you will pass the magnificent Dolmabahce Palace, and further along, the parks and imperial pavillions of Yildiz Palace. On the coastal edge of this park, is Ciragan Palace, 300 meters of is marble facade faces the shore. At Ortakoy a great variety of artists gather every Sunday to display their work along the street. Ortakoy is a symbol of tolerance with a church, a mosque and a synagogue existing side by side for centuries.
The Bosphorus Bridge
It also called the First Bosphorus Bridge (Turkish: Bogazici Koprusu or 1. Bogazici Koprusu) is a bridge in Istanbul, Turkey spanning the Bosphorus strait (Turkish: Boğaziçi)The bridge is located between Ortaköy (European side) and Beylerbeyi (Asian side). It is a gravity anchored suspension bridge with steel pylons and inclined hangers. The aerodynamic deck is hanging on zigzag steel cables. It is 1,510 m long with a deck width of 39 m. The distance between the towers (main span) is 1,074 m (World rank: 13th) and their height over road level is 105 m. The clearance of the bridge from sea level is 64 m. It was the 4th longest suspension bridge in the world when completed in 1973, and the longest outside the United States of America.
Beylarbeyi Palace
It was built by Sarkis Balyan Usta by order of Sultan Abdulaziz in 1865. It is on the Asian coast of Bosphorus, which was constructed, in the same style as the Dolmabahce Palace. Camlica hill
It is the highest point in Istanbul.At the top of it you can rest and admire the magnificent panorama of Istanbul and the Bosphourus from the beautiful gardens, Iandscaped in traditional style.If you climb great Pine Mountain 268m. above sea-level,you will have the opportunity to look over the Golden Horn Sea of Marmara.
After the tour,you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 4 Fly to Izmir / Ephesus and Laodicea    (Included Meals: Breakfast / Lunch)
05:00 Am We will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to the airport.
07:00 Am Fly to Izmir.
08:20 Am When you arrive at the airport, our staff will meet you and drive to the meeting point.
Today, we will start with Ephesus, one of the "Seven Churches of Revelation". Visit to St. John Basilica and the, Last abode of Virgin Mary at Mount Solmissos. Visit to the old Greco-Roman city of Ephesus, most important of the "Seven Churches of Asia Minor", where St. John brought Mary in fulfillment of his pledge to Jesus to protect her, she is believed to have taken into heaven. After lunch, continue to Laodicea a Crossroads of the ancient world .
Overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 5 Pamukkale, Sardis and Philadelphia and Thyatira   (Included Meals: Breakfast / Lunch)
After breakfast we will pick you up from the hotel and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis home of Philip the Evangelist. Have a break at the calcium terraces of Pamukkale later on proceed to Philadelphia. Philadelphia (Alasehir), the youngest of the "Seven Churches of Revelation", visiting the still standing remains of an early church and the city walls Lunch on the way. In the afternoon visit, ancient city and ruins of the famous church of Sardis the ancient Lydian capital. Later on the remains of the church of Thyatira than drive to Pergamon where we will stay for the night.

Day 6 Pergamon Tour    (Included Meals: Breakfast / Lunch)
Departure after breakfast for Pergamon (Bergama), the place where, wrote St. John to the church of Pergamon, "Satan's throne is sited. Visit the Church of Pergamon, the red-court, Acropolis, after lunch; we drive to Smyrna (Izmir), recipient of a letter from St Paul praising the early believers for their faithfulness. Visiting to St. Polycarp Church and a short tour of the city at the end of the tour, we will drive to Kusadasi and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 7 Check out / Fly to Cappadocia        (Meals:Breakfast )    
Today you do not wake up early. You will have breakfast at the hotel and have free time till afternoon.
Then we will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to airport for the domestic flight to Kayseri.When you arrive at the airport, our staff will meet you there and transfer to your hotel. You will check into the hotel and have relax on this day.

Day 8 Northern Cappadocia Tour        (Meals:Breakfast and Lunch ) 
09:30 Am After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel for the first adventure in Cappadocia.
On tour you will visit:
Devrent Valley, Here is also known as imagination valley as well where you see lots of fairy chimneys with interesting shapes like camel rock,mushroom like shapes and more. you can enjoy the valley while walking through the rock formations.
Pasabaglari, We call here monks valley too.At the end of 5 th century one of the saints called St.Simeon from Syria came here and lived in a cave in the valley and live as a hermit.Here youfind all the fairy chimneys with three caps on them.
Avanos, We can call here as the heart of art and handicrafts of the area.Here is the small town where the locals make potteries and seramics.This tradition was first started by Hittites 4000 years ago.Red River,Kızılırmak in Turkish,passes from the village.
Goreme, The names given here in history Korama,Avcılar and still called Maccan by locals.This is the place where you see lots of rock cut churches with best paintings of the area. Here was used as missionary school beginning from 2 nd centuries till 12 th centuries.
Goreme Open Air Museum, Featuring the most impressive of all rock-carved churches in Cappadocia. Esentepe, That s the best view you can ever see in the area.You will have a break on a hill called Esentepe where you see all the marvellous looking valleys with different shapes and the volcanoes shaped them.
Uchisar, Here is the small village which is famous with a huge castle used by Christians.There were 3 castles like this located in the area. The others are in Ortahisar and Ürgüp.
17:00 Pm After the tour,you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 9 Ihlara Valley Tour      (Meals:Breakfast and Lunch )    
You will have breakfast at your hotel and at 09:30 we will pick you up from your hotel for third day tour of Cappadocia. You will be taken to meeting point and meet with other tour participants and tour guide then we start the tour with a spectacular view over Goreme from Esentepe. You will see the complete view of Goreme valley and Goreme village: fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave houses. Continue driving to Derinkuyu Underground City, one of the best preserved and deepest Underground Cities in Cappadocia. Derinkuyu is excavated to a depth of approximately 85 m. It contains all the usual rooms found in an underground city (stables, cellars, storage rooms, refectories, churches, wineries etc.), a large room on the second floor was a missionary school with study rooms. Proceed to Ihlara Valley. This gorge is 16 km long and both sides are lined with rock carved churches, there are more than a hundred little churches and houses. You will walk about 4 km along the river in the valley exploring the hidden churches. At the end of your walk lunch will be served at Belisirma Village by the river. On the way back visit Selime Monastery, carved out of the rock by Christian monks in the 13th century. The size of the church makes a visit here astonishing. Stop briefly at Yaprakhisar Panorama point for another view of this great Monastery (this is also the spot where famous movie “Star wars” was shot). At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to hotel.

Day 10 Southern Cappadocia Tour      (Meals:Breakfast and Lunch )    
Your second day tour of Cappadocia will start at 09:30 Am.After breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and drive to the meeting point.
On tour you will visit:
Red Valley, presenting an opportunity to hike through orchards and vineyards, between fairy chimneys and rock-carved houses.This was also used by Christians at the end of 5th centuries,so you will explore the cave dwelling used by them and visit old churches too.Continue the walk in Rose Valley. Afterwards, visit the old Christian Village of
Cavusin.It was exactly settled like a big town where you will see lots of cave rooms used as living rooms,sleeping rooms,kitchens,wineries,etc.So all these are waiting for you to be explored.Following a lunch break,visit,
Esentepe,where you will have the best view in the area.You will have a break on that hill,you will see all the marvellous looking valleys with different shapes.Then visit
Kaymakli Underground City,which is probably the most attracting place to see in the area that you should not miss.It is the 2nd largest one in the area with its 4 levels and 40 meters depth.There are almost 40 underground cities like this.They were used first by Hittites and later by Christians as a shelter in the war times.They carved lots of rooms all connected with tunnels.The tour continue with visiting
Catalkaya where you will see the most famous fairy chimneys in Cappadocia.The last place to see is
Hospital Monastry (Ortahisar),which is the first place in the area used as hospital and health center by Christians.
17:00 Pm After the tour,you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 11 Check out / Fly to Istanbul         (Meals:Breakfast )    
You will say farewell to Cappadocia today. After breakfast, you will have free time to walk around on your own for shopping or self exploration till afternoon. Then we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the airport for the domestic flight back to Istanbul.When you arrive in Istanbul Airport, we will meet you there and transfer to your hotel.

Day 12 Free Day in Istanbul        (Meals: Breakfast )    
You will have leisure time in Istanbul for self exploration and enjoying the city.

Day 13 Check out / Transfer to Airport        (Meals: Breakfast )    
After a relax breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to the airport according to your international flight.
