Day 1: Arrival to Istanbul.

 

Welcome to Istanbul. Arrive in Istanbul. Met on arrival and transfer to your hotel where is located in Sultanahmet ( Old City Center). According to your arrival time you can either check in to the hotel and relax /or check out the old city. Overnight in Istanbul

Day 2 : Istanbul – Old City Tour . (B,L)

 

After having breakfast at the Hotel, Our guide meets you and We start our day trip around 09:00 am

We see how old meets new when you visit Istanbul's five "must-see" historic sites. The sites include :

 

Hippodrome of Constantinople

Tour Starts from the heart of the old city Turkish: Sultanahmet Meydanı, At Meydanı, was a horse-racing track that was the sporting and social centre of Constantinople, capital of the Byzantine Empire and the largest city in Europe. Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column, German Fountain of Wilhelm II are visited.

Blue Mosque
One of the most famous monuments in both the Turkish and Islamic worlds, the Sultan Ahmet Mosque (also known as the Blue Mosque) is a superb creation in the classical Ottoman style. The mosque has six towering minarets and 260 windows illuminating its vast main chamber, which is decorated with more than 20,000 Iznik tiles.

Topkapı Palace
The largest and oldest palace in the world, Topkapi is the crown jewel of the Ottoman Empire. With its harem (additional cost), treasury and exotic buildings overlooking the Golden Horn, your visit to Topkapi promises to be a truly fascinating experience.

Hagia Sophia
Now a museum, Hagia Sophia was built in the 6th century by the Emperor Justinian, and was one of the largest basilicas in the Christian world. After the Ottoman conquest, it was converted to a mosque and is today one of the most magnificent museums in the world. Take a moment to linger here to admire the fine Byzantine mosaics.

Grand Bazaar
In operation since the 14th century, the Grand Bazaar is one of the world's largest covered markets, with 58 streets and over 4,000 shops. The bazaar is specially known for its jewelry, leather, pottery, spices and carpets.Visit of Carpet Center and art demonstration.

End of tour,Return to hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3 : Istanbul - Gallipoli(B,L)

 

After having an early breakfast at the hotel , Pick up from your hotel in Istanbul and travel to Gallipoli for tour with lunch en route.Upon arrival we visit ;

Kabatepe Museum is located within the Gallipoli Historic National Park there's an exhibit of photographs of soldiers, their uniforms, weapons, and other findings from the battlefields.

Anzac Cove is a small cove on the Gallipoli peninsula. It became famous as the landing site and main base of Anzac’s during the World War I in 1915.

The Lone pine with its sweeping views over the Aegean and down the Gallipoli peninsula, Turks and Australians lived, fought and died. The Lone Pine was the name given to a solitary tree marked the site of the Battle of Lone Pine. There is a cemtery and Memorial at dedicated to to the Australian & New Zealand soldiers who fought in Gallipoli.

Chunuk Bair Heights is one of the three high points on the Sari Bair range. These were the main objectives of the Anzacs' offensive of early August 1915 when they tried to break out of the stalemate with the Turks in the Anzac sector.

End of tour , Drop off to the hotel in Eceabat or Canakkale.

Day 4 : Troy - Istanbul (B.L)

 

After having breakfast at the hotel, you join a full day guided tour for ;

Troy is the legendary city and center of the Trojan War, as described in the Epic Cycle, and especially in the Iliad, one of the two epic poems attributed to Homer. We see the Megaron houses, a small roman Theatre & Bouletarion, city walls, osite museum and a reconstructed wooden horse.

Lunch en route. Drive back to Istanbul. Drop off to your hotel in evenning.

Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 5 : Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise and Asia Side (B.L)

Golden Horn (from the bus)
The arm of the Bosphorus and a natural harbour of the historical peninsula separating the old and the new parts of İstanbul where the first colonies settled during the Byzantine. The residential area for Byzantine Jews, Italian traders and other non-muslim minorities. Drive along the traces of history at Balat viewing Metal Church of St. Stephen the Bulgarian, 21 kms. long
City Walls, the strongest fortification of the middle age.


Spice Bazaar
Located at Eminonu behind the New Mosque(Valide Sultan Mosque). It was constructed by Turhan Sultan in 1660 as a pious foundation attached to New Mosque. Bosphorus


Cruise By Boat
A traditional excursion by boat along the waterway seperating Europe and Asia. The shore is lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. During the excursion you will pass the magnificent Dolmabahce Palace, and further along, the parks and imperial pavillions of Yildiz Palace. On the coastal edge of this park, is Ciragan Palace, 300 meters of is marble facade faces the shore. At Ortakoy a great variety of artists gather every Sunday to display their work along the street. Ortakoy is a symbol of tolerance with a church, a mosque and a synagogue existing side by side for centuries.


The Bosphorus Bridge
Also called the First Bosphorus Bridge (Turkish: Boğaziçi Köprüsü or 1. Boğaziçi Köprüsü) is a bridge in Istanbul, Turkey spanning the Bosphorus strait (Turkish: Boğaziçi)The bridge is located between Ortaköy (European side) and Beylerbeyi (Asian side). It is a gravity anchored suspension bridge with steel pylons and inclined hangers. The aerodynamic deck is hanging on zigzag steel cables. It is 1,510 m long with a deck width of 39 m. The distance between the towers (main span) is 1,074 m (World rank: 13th) and their height over road level is 105 m. The clearance of the bridge from sea level is 64 m. It was the 4th longest suspension bridge in the world when completed in 1973, and the longest outside the United States of America.


Beylerbeyi Palace
Built by Sarkis Balyan Usta by order of Sultan Abdulaziz in 1865. It is on the Asian coast of Bosphorus, which was constructed, in the same style as the Dolmabahce Palace. Also, it is possible to visit Dolmabahce Palace instead of Beylerbeyi Palace.


Camlica Hill
The highest point in Istanbul.At the top of it you can rest and admire the magnificent panorama of Istanbul and the Bosphourus from the beautiful gardens, Iandscaped in traditional style.If you climb great Pine Mountain 268m. above sea-level,you will have the opportunity to look over the Golden Horn Sea of Marmara. End of the tour transfer back to hotel and overnight.

Day 6 : Departure (B)

After having breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport.
